Hands down one of my favorite places for fresh and delicious sushi. Was here on a date and we ended up sitting in the area where tatami flats are seating reflective of traditional Japanese rooms. The interior is small and dinner time is consistently packed with people, mostly with locals who know where to go for good sushi. We ended up order several items from their nigiri(maguro, shrimp, toro) menu on top of their sashimi combo plate, which came arranged with colors and textures in mind. My favorite slice of fish are maguro (tuna), Hamachi, toro, and salmon. The nigiri presentation here is good in that the rice is not too thick, something I'm not a big fan of so the flavor of the fresh fish is apparent. And these choices are dependent on what I'm craving at the moment too. In addition to sashimi/sushi offerings, the menu lists an extensive array of udon/ramen, bento boxes, as well as appetizer items for those that are unable to consume too much rice. Prices are competitive and typical of Japanese food pricing with nigiri ranging from $4 - $20, depending on the portions and plating preferences. One of my favorite places to go to for sushi and sashimi.
